IQUIQUE

Iquique is a coastal city in northern Chile, it was a thriving saltpeter mining town in the 19th century and today is a popular vacation destination, with a duty-free port area, Pacific beaches, and an oceanfront casino. In its historic neighborhood, an iconic 19th-century clock tower stands in Plaza Arturo Prat, the city's main square.

Beaches for surfing and water sports, where Playa Cavancha stands out with its wave called "the school", whose fame achieves worldwide success due to the great dragging of water and the perfect formation of tubes that allow surfers to challenge the waves.

If you want to go shopping, the Zofri Mall (Iquique Free Zone) is a must-see! Here you will find tax-free products that are marketed in a place that receives thousands of visitors a year.
